We are a private pay practice at this time and do not directly accept insurance.
All major credit, debit, FSA, and HSA cards, check, and cash are accepted.
We do not accept insurance for many reasons with the primary reason being that eliminating insurance removes barriers for care and allows services to be exactly what your child needs. Our speech therapy goals are not driven by arbitrary insurance requirements and rather, the focus is ONLY on your child.
A superbill can be provided at any time. A superbill is a document that shows a list of services received. We will provide documentation when requested for reimbursement by your insurance. Clients are responsible for confirming out-of-network insurance coverage and handling all reimbursement. Please note that all insurance companies vary and speech-language therapy services may or may not be a covered benefit by your insurance.

We believe in price transparency. Our current rates are as follows:
Screening: free of charge. This allows us to talk about your child, offer support, determine if an evaluation is needed, and determine if Our Village is a positive fit.
Comprehensive Evaluation: $225. A thorough evaluation up to 90 minutes including: formal and informal assessment, caregiver and child interview, and feedback session. This fee also includes collaborating with other professionals (e.g., teacher, school-based SLP, daycare provider(s), PCP, ENT, occupational and/or physical therapists, etc.) where applicable. An in-depth report will be provided after the visit.
An evaluation is used to determine if your child would benefit from speech therapy. Results of this assessment establish baseline measures and set goals for therapy.
Treatment/therapy session: $90. Sessions typically run 45-60 minutes. A home program will also be created after each session to ensure carryover of goals and expedite progress. If the session occurs at your child’s school or daycare, you will also receive a summary of the appointment following the visit to ensure carryover of goals at home.
It is very important to us that our services are accessible. Please reach out with any questions or concerns about our rates.

We come to you and provide services in your home! We are also able to travel to daycares and schools when appropriate. Your home is your child’s most comfortable environment! In-home services are helpful for children of all ages. For younger children, this natural setting allows us to target goals in a functional and practical way. Children warm very easily to this! For older children, in-home services eliminate a need to commute to a clinic and focus on what matters - quick and effective progress! Our goal is to provide therapy in a comfortable and familiar environment and make therapy more accessible.
-
Absolutely not! We will be ready to dive right in! For play-based therapy, we will play where your child is comfortable playing! Some children may benefit from a quieter space (e.g., older children/adolescents addressing speech sounds). Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
-
We work with children of all ages. We see children from ten months to 16 years old.
-
This depends on your child! We provide services ONLY based on your child’s needs - we do not provide “blanket” recommendations. This is very important to us! Some children may be seen once a week and others twice a month. We recommend frequency of services based on many factors including but not limited to: caregiver/child concerns, evaluation results, response to treatment, and goals.
-
We provide virtual services for clients located in the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
