Our Team
Meghan Welsh, M.S. - CCC/SLP
My name is Meghan and I am a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience specializing in pediatrics. I earned a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. I spent the first few years of my career working for Chicago Public Schools and a private practice in Denver, CO. Before moving to Minneapolis and founding Our Village, I spent the majority of my career working for the University of Wisconsin Hospital system at a pediatric outpatient clinic in Madison, WI.
My approach to speech therapy is simple: build a positive relationship with your child! My goal is to foster meaningful, positive change for your child and your family. I value connecting with children to facilitate an interactive and engaging therapy session. I specialize in working with children with speech, language, and communication disorders. I am interested in working with children with apraxia, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive-receptive language disorders, late talkers, executive functioning differences, stuttering and fluency differences/disorders, autism, and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
When not working, I spend my days being a mom. I love exploring the Twin Cities with my family and spending time outdoors!
